MuseScore 4.1.1 for apple instal3/2/2024 I don't see anything to assure me that it ISN'T. "I don't know if Muse Hub Service is communicating with anywhere on the internet while its running with all those options turned off, but it seems to me to be quite likely that it CAN if it wants, and I as the computer owner have no control over it. I can find no way to change this behavior. That means that even if you stop the service, it will automatically start again after a re-boot. That option is greyed out, even if you are logged on as Administrator. What you cannot do is change the Service Type to anything from its default, Automatic. You can turn off its Auto Update options. "Something else I though I'd mention about Muse Hub: you can turn off its "Community Acceleration" option. Below is the generated crash report which I have sent to Apple numerous times.I'll quote an earlier post of mine about Musehub: I know others have had this experience, yet I don't see much attention in GitHub as a serious concern. Looks like I am, once again, going to have to resort to using TimeMachine to go back to when the program ran. I have changed sound output from digital to analog devices without effect. I have turned off/on the computer, deleted and reinstalled the MuseScore, MuseHub, Musehub instruments all to no effect. Now MuseScore 4.1.1 no longer opens at all in Mac OS Ventura, nor Sonoma (MuseScore 3.6 works perfectly). It was generated every time I quit the program. Prior to this event, simply quitting MuseScore4 generated a crash report on my Mac M1 Mini. I was trying to uncover the reason why my midi keyboard transport buttons do not function as toggles (I have to hold the buttons down continuously for them to work it works perfectly in MuseScore 3.6.+) Somehow resetting my MS4 preferences to "default" caused MuseScore to crash.
